When talking to those that people please to the detriment of themselves they will not change because it's hurting themselves. They're already used to sacrificing themselves and focusing on everyone else outside of themselves.  The perspective that needs to "click" for them isn't about them,  it's about the other people in their life.    People-pleasing and being the one who has taken it upon yourself to constantly take care of everyone else's problems and keep the peace in the family/relationship is HINDERING those you care for and not helping them. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/butfirstcoffee/support
