This one, however, has two sources of inspiration. First, I stumbled upon the dreamy, hazy and romantic style of a band called Cigarettes After Sex (the name beats me!). They became an instant favorite and their song Falling in Love was crying out to be the star of a mix. A little after that, Hans Zimmer and co. mesmerized me in the emotionally epic soundtrack to the Netflix original film Hillbilly Elegy. This mix begins and ends with music from the soundtrack, which gives it a particularly high note to end on that I hope would leave you with a lingering sense of love and hope.
