Yeshiva League Sports Update

Thanks Nachum! Straight ahead on the Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, underdogs reign supreme as the 2021-2022 Winter season draws to thrilling conclusions, with more still to come! All that and more, good morning, I'm Elliot Weiselberg. Boys JV Hockey and the two boys basketball leagues all wrapped up their seasons over the last seven days. We start out last Tuesday night where DRS and TABC met in Frisch for the JV Hockey championship. TABC opened the scoring in the 2nd period, on a shorthanded effort by Sophomore Shay Fields. DRS would battle back though and within a two-minute stretch, Freshman Yitzy Yudin and Sophomore Ariel Rogoff gave DRS a 2-1 lead that it would never relinquish. The championship is the first for the Wildcats on the JV level since the 2014-2015 season.
