Today, I covered Full House S4E8: Shape Up, which aired on November 9, 1990. In this episode In light of Kimmy's upcoming pool party, DJ begins a crash diet and overexerts herself exercising. When Stephanie notices the problem, DJ swears her to secrecy, but the secret is out when DJ collapses during a family outing to the gym. I thought given the subject matter of the episode it was done well. Candace (D.J.) did a believable job as someone in the beginning stages of an eating disorder granted I really have nothing to compare it too. Even though I didn't mention it in the episode, actress Tracey Gold (who played Carol Seaver on Growing Pains) had developed an eating disorder while filming the last couple of Seasons of the show very noticeably in Season 7. It was very heartbreaking, she actually took a break during Season 7 to get some professional help. So many "fat jo
