Yesterday I mentioned that sometimes we need to take a break or walk away from certain situations in life. This includes people and environments, which could be difficult especially when there’s a history. I found this quote that said, “Stop looking for happiness in the same place you lost it,” which applies here. Maybe there is a history with a particular relationship (i.e. personal, romantic, professional, social), but if it no longer brings you joy and fulfillment, then maybe it’s time to part ways. It doesn’t have to be a dramatic separation. It can be a peaceful parting. Remember the good times and know that you’re moving toward something that is more meaningful for the future you want to create. You deserve it! I’d love to hear your thoughts.
