This ‘Drive Time” episode comes on the heels of the Starbucks controversy in which two black men were arrested while waiting for their associate. Here, I confront us with our responsibility to ourselves and the indignities we suffer when we neglect them. Also, do we have the will to use our trillion plus in buying power to establish our own economic base? Or will we remain at the Rich Man’s Gate? If you’ve seen the footage, the protests of today in 2018 resemble much of what we’ve seen in the 60’s. What have WE done differently in the 50 plus years since? Are we tired yet?
