Distance Learning Distractions

Informações:

Sinopsis

This week on a special #EducationReboot episode of Max Out Time: Victor Jimenez and Jeremiah Pierre, two seventh graders at Flushing Christian School in Flushing, New York, discuss their remote learning difficulties amid the coronavirus pandemic. It is the second time these young men have been guests on the show. I interviewed them in 2019 when they became the youngest winners of National Geographic’s GeoChallenge team competition for their project about preserving the Hudson River Watershed. The two middle schoolers say that remote learning causes unnecessary distractions, there are technical difficulties and it’s also affecting their social lives. But they both agree that it is *not* time to return to in-person learning.
