Camden Prep is the highest performing school of all renaissance and district schools in Camden and home to some of New Jersey’s most vulnerable students of color, which is why Dean Barry takes his job personally, especially during the new normal. We discussed Black children’s mental health, the importance of role models and the lack of resources in underprivileged communities.
