Between that and the gung-ho feature length military advertisement Top Gun: Maverick continuing its jaw-dropping run at the box office (and secondarily, US Independence Day), it seemed like a perfect time to take a look at the long history of movies designed in part, or in full, to celebrate the love of Queen and Country, give or take the Queen.
