Being Green

According to a recent assessment by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the IUCN, more than 300 species of sharks, and their close relatives, rays, are threatened with extinction. South Africa is in fact one of the top 5 global hotspots for these marine animals, which is why it is good to hear that WILDTRUST, along with the government, has launched a new campaign to protect these incredible creatures.
