Nikki Vanecek was raised in the western suburbs of Minneapolis on Lake Minnetonka and raised her children there as well. Nikki is active in the community; she serves on the Ridgeview Medical Center Foundation Board and is also a member of the Northwestern Health Science University Board of Trustees. When she is not busy helping others, she enjoys most any outdoor activity from wake surfing, downhill skiing, to riding her motorcycle, or a peaceful weekend up at her cabin. As an experienced health care provider, Nikki is the owner of EastWest Acupuncture and Professional Sports Acupuncture. She is paving the way for the collaboration of acupuncturists and Chinese medicine in modern medical health care.  She has a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University and advanced Training from Tianjin Medical University, a top-ranked medical college, in Tianjin China.
