Dr. Essie McKoy Award-Winning Educator, Speaker, Author, and Coach!Dr. McKoy grew up in Milwaukee, NC with her late mother, Evangelist Essie and her father Reverend John Manley. She was the first to attend college in her immediate family and received four degrees. Currently, she is working on her fifth degree and she believes her most important degree in Pastoral Ministry. Essie has attended many leadership programs at Harvard University, Howard University, Wake Forest University, North Carolina State University, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! She has two beautiful children, Marcus and Shardae. Essie is active in her church, has traveled extensively, and thoroughly enjoys impacting the lives of young people. She has a passion for working with schools and students, especially schools that are highly impacted and is known for her ability to transform schools.
