Stern is also the CEO of Palisades Media Ventures and Chair of ASCEND. Previously, he was the CEO of National Public Radio and held senior positions in Democratic politics and American international broadcasting. Stern is the best-selling author of With Charity For All and Republican Like Me and is a regular contributor to Vanity Fair on politics and media.
