Today's guest is Sahid Valenzuela who most recently played for the Titans from 2017 through 2019 and was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 13th round of the 2019 MLB draft. In his freshman season in 2017, Sahid played in 57 games, 55 as a starter, including both games in the College World Series primarily playing second base. He finished his freshman campaign batting .314 and received numerous awards and accolades including named to the All-Big West First Team, Big West Freshman of the Year and named to the Collegiate Baseball All-American Team.His sophomore season saw Sahid slide over to the shortstop position with the graduation of Timmy Richards, a position he would play both his sophomore and junior seasons, teaming up with best friend Hank LoForte playing second base to make up a lethal double play combo.
