FBI AND THE PLOT TO KIDNAP A GOVERNORRefresher: Do you remember the story last September about a militia group who plotted to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer? The kidnapping was ultimately thwarted by the FBI before it took place. Bombshell: A report by BuzzFeed News (of all places) suggests that the FBI didn't just investigate... undercover FBI agents took an active role in planning and executing the plot to kidnap the governor. And members of the militia group [who call themselves the 'Wolverine Watchmen' ] are saying it was a case of entrapment. Buzzfeed wrote: "Working in secret, [the FBI informants] did more than just passively observe and report on the actions of the suspects. Instead, they had a hand in nearly every aspect of the alleged plot, starting with its inception.
