This episode occurred at 3:30 a.m., so if there's anything extremely terrible about this podcast it's because I was tired but could not fall asleep. I worked on an XFL podcast for hours and stumbled upon many memories of watching Bob Stoops, Landry Jones and the Oklahoma Sooners. Landry Jones had an impact on my childhood and overall life. Not because of how great of a quarterback he ended up being, but rather of his 2009 red shirt freshman season trying to replace Sam Bradford. I was slowly getting into football and realized that this guy was nothing like Bradford but I was also 9. Landry Jones 'sucking' in 2009 helped fuel a love for football. Mainly because I thought I needed to replace him because a 9 year-old is going to be better than a 19-20 year-old. Spoiler alert, I am not the starting quarterback for the University of Oklahoma, but I am a sports media student at Oklahoma State University.
