The open Christianity at the root of our Swedenborgianism tells us that not only are both man and woman made in God’s image and likeness, but all good and grand things in the universe are empowered by him/her. Despite such majesty, the Lord awaits and empowers our goodness with patience and kindness: he sets our path straight where we allow him to with Divine Humility. A humility that we’re asked to reflect back for our own spiritual well-being.
