Today, I replace the words success and failure with honestly and effort. This makes a big difference in my life today because it helps me to focus on the things I can control. I used to think of everything in my life as a zero-sum game. In other words, I either succeeded or failed, and the effort I put into failure equated to a waste of time. I am thankful today to be able to focus on the honesty and effort I put into my work because it allows me to live a simple, peaceful life today.
