Blended Families Ministry Class 11 of 12 Spring 2017In this lesson you learn of some of the reasons why emotions should be controlled by you instead of them controlling you. You will also learn that self-control is highly valued by God. You gain a deeper understanding and insight of how truly significant self-control is in your journey to become Christ-like.Emotion is not in and of itself evil or bad. It’s a necessary part of your life. It’s what produces the “fight or Flight” ability when when you get into a dangerous situation. Fear can help keep you out of trouble, but it can also paralyze you when you should be doing something constructive.
