Yesus menyebut diriNya sebagai Kebangkitan dan Hidup dalam peristiwa kebangkitan Lazarus. Kita dapat memaknai Paskah dan arti dari kebangkitan, melalui peristiwa tersebut. Yesus bukan hanya menjanjikan kebangkitan setelah kematian, tetapi juga kuasa kebangkitan yang sama dapat mentransformasi cara pandang kita terhadap kehidupan hari ini.

Bangsa Israel dipanggil sebagai bangsa yang kudus, meskipun kita melihat bahwa mereka berulang kali bersikap bebal, meninggalkan, dan menentang Tuhan. Mereka jauh dari apa yang mungkin kita kenal sebagai bangsa yang tidak bercela. Tetapi ketika kita memahami bahwa kekudusan adalah kita dipisahkan untuk dipakai Tuhan, kita akan mengalami transformasi internal dan eksternal.

Kekristenan cenderung menghargai dan merayakan bentuk ibadah, termasuk hingga musik sebagai identitas gereja. Tetapi perubahan yang kita lihat apakah bernilai? Apa yang kekristenan rayakan hendaknya adalah pertobatan, pemuridan, dan perumbuhan ketaatan.

Kekudusan adalah konsep dan prinsip yang fundamental dan penting bagi setiap orang percaya. Kita hidup kudus bukan karena tindakan saja, tetapi kita hidup menyelaraskan semua aspek kehidupan kita dengan Bapa.

Kita sering merasa "kudus" adalah kata yang muluk dan jauh dari kita sebagai orang yang hidup di dunia dan bekerja, berinteraksi dengan dunia setiap hari. Tetapi kita melihat bahwa kudus adalah perintah Tuhan, yang berarti, kita perlu menyelaraskan definisi kudus kita denganNya, dan diperlengkapi untuk hidup kudus, hidup dipakai oleh Tuhan.
