With the opener just days away, it's about time Pete and Robbie fully break down the Hokies' 2021 season. In this episode, the guys discuss preseason rankings, the schedule, and what to expect from both sides of the ball. Football season is upon us and the guys have some bold predictions that should make VT fans pretty happy. Before getting into that though, Pete and Robbie discuss the bombshell of Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC. What's the fallout going to be like? What happens to the 12-team playoff proposal? A potential alliance between the Big 10, Pac 12, and ACC? They get into all of it before dissecting Tech's position battles, recruiting, and much more. The weather is hot and so are the Hokies on the recruiting trail! After reeling in a couple of big fish the last two weeks, Pete and Robbie are back to discuss how the 2022 class is taking shape. The guys then shift their focus to some recent portal additions before breaking down Athlon Sports' College Football Preview for 2021. The lengthy craft beer discussion in the middle of this episode may also be enjoyable for some of our beer-loving listeners.

In just his second year as head coach, Mike Young has the Hokies dancing! In fact, VT is kicking off the tournament this year, playing in Friday's first game at the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. Pete and Robbie preview the matchup vs. the Florida Gators and layout the roadmap for a Final Four run. Right now, anything seems possible, enjoy the ride!

Tech was able to overcome the loss of Tyrece Radford and take down UVA this past Saturday. Pete and Robbie recap the incredible second half effort and discuss what it could mean come March. It was another huge win for Mike Young and the boys on their quest to make the big dance; unfortunately, the music stopped on Wednesday night with a road loss to Pitt. Basketball is back and Tech is ranked! What a start to the season for Coach Mike Young and the boys as they toppled the no. 3 Wildcats. Another punch in the gut. The top-10 win was a bit of a long shot when the game started, but it seemed like the Hokies were going to pull it off until late in the second half. Consider our expectations tempered. VT couldn't get out of their own way last Saturday, losing to the Demon Deacons 23-16.
