VT football got spanked by the Monarchs on Saturday night, leading to the firing of Head Coach Brent Pry. The guys break down the failures of the Pry tenure before discussing what the next steps are for the program. At the end of the show, some potential coaching candidates are tossed around - mostly for fun because we are a long way from finding VT's next big whistle.

Sam is back this week to help Pete break down Week 2 across college football. It was a weekend full of upsets - including a pantsing of the slightly favored Hokies in Blacksburg.

In this episode, Pete and Sam recap what they saw down in Atlanta as the Hokies fell to the Gamecocks 24-11. Along with multiple reasons for optimism, there was cause for concern as well. If the Hokies defense comes to play like they did on Sunday, VT could win a lot of games this year, but the offense is going to have to score some touchdowns. Up next is Diego Pavia and the Vanderbilt Commodores. They're coming to Blacksburg for a Saturday night tilt that will be a defining game for Coach Pry, win or lose. Let's hope the boys can regroup quickly and win a HUGE home opener. 

Pete breaks down Week 1 with the help of Robert Irby and Coach Holmes. Florida State, Ohio State, LSU, and Notre Dame all scored massive victories - the Hokies hung tough, but had too many mistakes against the Gamecocks.
