Danny Coale joins the show to rehash the incredible last second victory over the Cornhuskers back in September of 2009. This episode is an oral history of one of VT men's basketball's most exciting games. The 80-78, double overtime victory over Virginia back in Buzz Williams' 3rd season was momentous, and came at a pivotal time for the program. Though the team had come a long way from the James Johnson era, Tech still hadn't made an NCAA tournament in 10 years. College football's silly season is in full swing. Between coaching changes, recruiting visits, and the transfer portal officially opening, the CFB landscape has never been crazier. VT is in the thick of it with a total of 13 players entering the portal and 5 recent commitments to come play for the Hokies.
