European football was hit by a nuclear bomb of greed after new plans for a European super league were revealed that would mean six English clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham – would join a breakaway competition that would create a caste system in the Premier League. The new Super League would be like hunting animals in a cage; it's such a bad idea that all clubs involved should be relegated for their mutiny.

Mino Raiola and Erling Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge, travelled around Europe meeting with executives and officials of the main clubs interested in the 20-year-old striker earlier this week.  In oder to land the striker, the "lucky" club will have to shell out:  - €20 million to be paid to Mino Raiola - €20 million to be paid to Alf-Inge Haaland - A wage package of €30 million net per season to be paid to Erling Haaland - Plus the transfer fee, reported to be a minimum of €150 million, paid to Borussia Dortmund Mike and Paul discuss!

The Athletic reports, "Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta dropped club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang because he reported late for the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, it can be revealed." Apparently, Aubameyang's lateness is becoming an issue as of late which begs the question: does he even give a shit?   

For the first time since 2004-05, neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo will see their teams involved in the Champions League quarter-finals. Messi and Barcelona were eliminated at the last-16 stage by PSG, who drew 1-1 against the Spanish side on Wednesday to seal a 5-2 aggregate triumph. The day before Porto stunned Juventus and Ronaldo, advancing after a thrilling extra-time battle in the second leg in Turin.

Success for Manchester United is winning a battle against a side which will win the war. Although City manager Pep Guardiola’s pursuit of a world-record winning streak ended after United won the derby 2-0 on Sunday, the result is of little consequence when it comes to deciding the title.

The Legend talks with Henning, the man behind the FPL Insider Twitter account - which tracks the online fantasy football profiles of Premier League players and staff and tweets out when they transfer in or out one of their real-life colleagues. You might remember that last week, the account came into the spotlight when it revealed that several Aston Villa stars had substituted out Jack Grealish. Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola made history as his side continued their winning run to the Premier League title. Goals from central defenders Ruben Dias and John Stones gave Manchester City their 20th consecutive win in all competitions, with Stones scoring the winner in the 68th minute after Michael Antonio’s 43rd-minute goal gave an impressive West Ham hopes of taking at least a point. 

Manchester City left Germany with two crucial away goals against Borussia Monchengladbach - but Pep Guardiola's coat stole the show with some saying that he's outdone even Julian Nagelsmann in the fashion department. 

West Ham manager David Moyes says his side "haven't hit top gear yet" despite climbing into the top four of the Premier League with victory over London rivals Tottenham making them the best club in London. No, this is not another dumb joke; it's real. 

The Football Association is to undertake an extraordinary disciplinary procedure after charging a referee with misconduct. Darren Drysdale has apologized for his behaviour after he locked heads with Ipswich’s Alan Judge when the player contested a decision not to award a penalty in the 0-0 draw with Northampton on Tuesday. But given that Judge was screaming in the ref's face, isn't only human to fight back? 

Pep Guardiola says he would not change any member of the City squad for anyone. The Premier League leaders earned a 16th successive win in all competitions with Saturday's superb 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.
