This week on the podcast, Tom Kakert and Matt Randazzo wrap up spring football. We look back at the Friday practice, what we learned, and evaluated each position. Then we talk some NFL Draft and free agent signings, and wrap up talking some recruiting news along with reflecting on the passing of former Hawk Kenny Arnold.

Just when you think the Iowa basketball news would slow down a bit, they give us more to discuss. We open the show discussing the departure of assistant coach Andrew Francis and who Fran McCaffery might hire to fill that role on staff. Is the Iowa basketball roster settled? Then we dive into hoops recruiting news. After that, we talk some spring football and the rise of Nico Ragaini and Tyrone Tracy Jr. at wide receiver, what Ken O’Keefe said about the QB’s this week, a big TE commitment, and we talk a little NFL Draft.

This week on the podcast, Tom Kakert and Matt Randazzo are joined by Jerry Palmer from the Iowa video department. It’s a stroll down memory lane with Palmer, who has been with the Hawkeyes for 23 years. We look back at his years with Hayden Fry, Kirk Ferentz and his time with the hoops program dating back to Tom Davis. Some great stories and memories this week on the podcast.

Then we look at the list of potential candidates if McCaffery were to leave the Hawkeyes. Then we look at Sunday’s game against Tennessee and the challenge that the Vols present.
