So it shouldn’t surprise us that Jesus offers extremely practical advice on how to be an incredible friend, sibling, boo, parent, and/or spouse. Buddy the Elf once said, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.”  Although, the ‘loud for all to hear’ part might be a little over the top.  Christmas is known for some of the best & worst songs of all time.  However, the classic Christmas songs are one of the most anticipated parts of the Christmas season.  In this series we are going to look at two Christmas Carol classics, and the stories behind the music that tell about God sending His Son Jesus to live among us. This is Momentum, so we’ll have our own style and we will be loud, but not nearly as obnoxious as Buddy the Elf…maybe.

In order for someone – over time – to become more like Jesus, they have to know what he said and what he taught. Stories about the life and teachings of Jesus need to be in our mental hard drives, IF we want to find them in a moment’s notice when we’re at work, on a date, punishing our kids, or on the basketball court. For this reason, we give you “Jesus Stories.”
