Ok - no doubt - many negative things can be said about the Church - and especially individuals in the Church - over the centuries.  However, Scripture uses several metaphors to paint a vision of what the Church is suppose to be, and what we should strive to be if we aren't. These images may just ignite or rekindle your hope for the local church - and God's worldwide Church - as the spiritual, Jesus-like community that you have always expected it could/should be.

There’s one God, but He exists in three distinct persons of Father, Son, and Spirit. OK, is that clear as mud for ya? But let’s try our best, in our latest sermon series on one of the most fundamental Christian doctrines (“Trinity”), and see what it means to our lives.
