  • Atopic Dermatitis

    On this episode, we review the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of atopic dermatitis. We discuss different moisturizers and cleansers that patients can use to keep their skin healthy. We describe common topical corticosteroids used in atopic dermatitis as well as their potencies. We also go over some of the newer medications like crisaborole (Eucrisa) and dupilumab (Dupixent). We also list several new studies that have recently been published that examined treatment options such as melatonin, probiotics, and montelukast (Singulair).   • Interview with California Pharmacists Association CEO Jon Roth
