  • EP 144 // You Will Find Your Way // Worthfull Affirmation

    17/02/2021 Duración: 08min

Worth is what will guide you to the destination you will be happiest at.   Welcome to a new season of the show: the Worthfull Affirmations season. Every other week, I'll release a new episode on the podcast that will be a short affirmation set to music on a topic related to owning our worth. This week's affirmation is inspired by the poet and illustrator Danica Gim and her note: "She will find her way again and again and again." Let me know what you think! Shall I do more of these?     Listen on: Apple Podcasts  |  Spotify  |  Google Podcasts  | Stitcher Links mentioned: Music Credit: Watercooler Quiet by Blue Dot Sessions Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 143 // You Have Innate Creativity // Worthfull Affirmation

    03/02/2021 Duración: 10min

The value you see in others' creativity is a reflection of the value of your own creativity.   It's a new year, a new season of Worthfull Project, and a whole new kind of offering on the podcast. I took my time letting Season 4 of the show marinate inside me (6 weeks!). I feel like WP is a teenager now and she tells me what she wants to be. I've been so uplifted and nourished and inspired by a combo of things recently: classical music, photography, meditation, spoken word, poetry. And so I'm trying my hand (or voice rather) at the things that have been inspiring me. Welcome to a new season of the show: the Worthfull Affirmations season. Every other week, I'll release a new episode on the podcast that will be a short affirmation set to music on a topic related to owning our worth. It's a new creative project for me, so no surprise that this first affirmation episode is about your innate creative worth. Let me know what you think! Shall I do more of these?   Links mentioned: Sarah Blondin Musi

  • EP 142 // Worthy Later, Worthy Now // Christine Baird

    16/12/2020 Duración: 11min

"If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now." - Kali De Wild   As I wrap this season and year of Worthfull Project, I'm filled with all the emotions this year has brought into my heart. I'm digesting, processing, understanding them all at my own pace, but certain truths are already clear. We're always worth something. Always. No matter the circumstances or emotions or what is being said. And that's a truth I can know at any time, if I just remember. I'm very excited to digest all the things I've learned this year and fashion a new season and new offering of the Worthfull Project next year. I'm not sure when I'll start back on the podcast, but I'll be sure to let you know when the next chapter begins. Happy holidays worthfull ones.   Links mentioned: Pinterest quote from this episode Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

Welcome to the fourth Special Series on the Worthfull Project podcast! If you listened to any of the Worthfull Home or Worthfull Work or Worthfull Motherhood Special Series, you'll enjoy this one focused on how we own our worth in our health -- yes, we're talking mind, body, and spirit! I have found certain topics relating to self-worth that are especially interesting to me, so I wanted to record mini episodes on each of these topics where I interview several people on the same topic to get a rich perspective on how to own my worth in these areas. This series is all about owning our worth in how we take care of ourselves. This is something I feel very passionate about, having spent the last decade of my life learning to take care of my body and spirit through wholesome diet, exercise, therapy, and self-care routines. If you knew me back in 2012, you'd know I had a significant lifestyle change that resulted in falling in love with plant-based eating, distance running, yoga, and more. Since then, I've be

  • EP 141 // Worth As a Source of Light and Joy // Christine Baird

    02/12/2020 Duración: 14min

"The things that light me up and bring me joy are always the things that remind me of my worth."   As a Christian, I love the Christmas season because of what it reminds me in my faith. The hope of a savior and redeemer from all things, the worth of each soul, the mercy of a loving god. I also love this season as a creative because the aesthetic of Christmas is pure joy. So this year I'm remembering a few key things about my worth at the holidays -- that the things that bring me light and joy are also the things that remind me of my worth. And my worth is the generator of light and joy within me. It's a beautiful circle that I'm so grateful to be focusing on this month. I invite you to join me!   Links mentioned: Think Like a Producer podcast Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 140 // A Different Season of Gratitude // Christine Baird

    25/11/2020 Duración: 17min

"My gratitude is focused on the peace I've been able to experience."   It's Thanksgiving eve, in a truly unique year of challenge and heartache, and I'm feeling gratitude in a different way this year. I'm sharing a variety of thoughts in today's solo episode -- about what I learned from the Worthfull Motherhood bonus series, about what it means to be an American citizen with our challenging history, and the gifts of time and creativity that the pandemic has given me, resulting in a brand new podcast I am co-hosting. This is my open heart, recorded in real time, as a reminder that the heartbreaking and the heart-healing can walk hand in hand with us as our teachers.   Links mentioned: Worthfull Motherhood Bonus Series Tiff Tyler episode on the Worthfull Project Think Like a Producer podcast Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 139 // A Holiday of Worthfull Creativity // Christine Baird

    11/11/2020 Duración: 14min

"We may never have a holiday like this again . . . when we have time to be and reflect and create."   I am very excited about this unique holiday season. I've been looking forward to it for a while because I feel like this holiday will have an abundance of something that is usually scarce this time of year . . . time to create. As this extraordinary year draws to a close and we reflect and celebrate the good, as we do during the holidays, I'm dedicating myself to the art of creation. Yes holiday gifts and delicious recipes and beautiful wrappings, but also home. Peace. Joy. Clarity. I can't wait to see what this season yields.   Links mentioned: Worthfull Media Worthfull Home Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 138 // Letting My Worth Create My Reality // Josh Rossi

    04/11/2020 Duración: 43min

"Creating isn't just thinking about it."   I love talking to creatives and artists. They always inspire me to look inside myself for my own creative worth. So when I got to talk to Josh Rossi, world-renowned digital artist of viral photo fame, I was delighted. You've probably already seen some of Josh's work floating around your Facebook feed, or featured in People Magazine, or on Good Morning America. I remember first seeing his work when he created a photo series of his daughter as Wonder Woman, to show her that she is a superhero. In our conversation, we talk about owning our worth as creatives, but we also talk about what happens when we create the unimaginable and realize how big our potential really is. I love hearing yet another successful creative share how important it is to mirror back other's worth in everything we create.   Show notes The backstory on how Josh became the world-renowned digital artist he is today (3:10) The point when Josh started owning his worth as an artist (8

  • EP 137 // Mirroring Back My Results // Christine Baird

    28/10/2020 Duración: 19min

"Seeing our results-based worth mirrored back to us helps us realize how infinite and huge our worth really is."   I have been a busy worker bee the past week designing a new site for my company, a new media kit for my personal brand, a new group coaching program, and a new podcast! I will share all the good updates as they roll out. During this process, I've been looking at my results and really taking in the worth of them. I know we don't usually talk about results-based worth, but there's a time and place to take them in and own them. What I've realized is this: looking at our results makes us realize how infinitely deeper our worth runs than just what we can list on paper.   Links mentioned: Worthfull Media Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 136 // Embodying Our Own Beauty // Christine Baird

    21/10/2020 Duración: 15min

"Your needs will diminish as you embody your own beauty." - Sarah Blondin   I have been LOVING Sarah Blondin's meditations the past few months. See below for links where you can listen - highly recommend! She is worthfull at it's best. Today, I was listening to one while on my afternoon walk, and the line she said about embodying your own beauty struck me powerfully. What a wonderful way of describing owning your worth. I'm sharing my thoughts on this, and how timely it is for me, in this solo episode.   Links mentioned: Sarah Blondin meditations on Insight Timer Sarah Blondin podcast Live Awake Human Design Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 135 // Before All the Doors Open // Christine Baird

    14/10/2020 Duración: 09min

"Loneliness can also be grace and rest and the pause and the opportunity to rejuvenate."   I'm sharing a quote I saved months ago and just rediscovered. It really encapsulated what I've been in this season of post-wedding integration and processing. I can tell that I'm on the verge of all the doors opening in my professional life. I've got really cool projects cooking that I'm quite excited about and this little chapter of quiet and alone-ness has been just the ticket to let the creative juices flow. I hope you can see the same for yourself, in whatever way serves you the most.   Links mentioned: The quote that inspired today's episode Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 134 // Owning My Unique Perspective in My Work // Tiff Tyler

    07/10/2020 Duración: 54min

"Worth is the freedom to fall as opposed to the freedom to succeed."   Ok, this one is special. Tiff Tyler and I have been co-workers and friends for years, working in the trenches on building influencer podcasts and brands. She is a seasoned videographer, video marketer, producer, and more. But her insight into owning her worth in her work goes beyond what we have done together. I knew it was time to record this episode once the Worthfull Work series had come about. I have watched Tiff own her worth, as a minority on multiple levels, in an industry known for being dominated by white men. This conversation is such a treasure trove of insights, truths, inspiration, and it's just the beginning. Stay tuned for more from Tiff and I talking about worthfull work!   Show notes How being a multi-hyphenate in her profession has impacted Tiff's self-worth (3:45) How to manage perfectionism when failure is frequently required (7:40) What working as a female minority in your industry teaches you about you

I'm sharing my recap and takeaways in today's episode to make sure I take note of them for myself. And I hope they spark a few new thoughts about your worth in your work as well. Welcome to the second Special Series on the Worthfull Project podcast! If you listened to any of the Worthfull Home Special Series, you'll enjoy this one focused on how we own our worth in our work. I have found certain topics relating to self-worth that are especially interesting to me, so I wanted to record mini episodes on each of these topics where I interview several people on the same topic to get a rich perspective on how to own my worth in these areas. This series is all about owning our worth in our careers -- whatever that may look like for you. I made this series with the intention to binge listen, but enjoy however you want.
