Bonus Series // Worthfull Work // Tiff Peterson
25/09/2020 Duración: 12minWelcome to the second Special Series on the Worthfull Project podcast! If you listened to any of the Worthfull Home Special Series, you'll enjoy this one focused on how we own our worth in our work. I have found certain topics relating to self-worth that are especially interesting to me, so I wanted to record mini episodes on each of these topics where I interview several people on the same topic to get a rich perspective on how to own my worth in these areas. This series is all about owning our worth in our careers -- whatever that may look like for you. As an entrepreneur and business owner, I think about this all the time, so I interviewed three of my dear friends who I think exemplify worthfull work beautifully. I made this series with the intention to binge listen, but enjoy however you want. This episode is with my sister-friend, life coach, mentor, peer, podcast-buddy, client and joy of a woman, Tiff Peterson. I could go on for days why I love Tiff as a friend, but learning from her as a career

EP 132 // Change Challenges Self-Worth // Christine Baird
17/09/2020 Duración: 23min"Change is here to serve us, to teach us, to help us evolve. It's not just here to fill us with doubt." As I'm sure you can relate, I've been experiencing a LOT of change this year, this month, this season. For me it's been the pandemic, and getting married, and moving, and evolving my career, but I'm sure you can list all all your own top changes as well. I've been thinking lately about how all this change has impacted my self-worth; how it challenges my identity and worth -- and how it helps it. So I've recorded a solo episode to explore some of this, and I have a feeling I'll be exploring this for a while longer. 02/09/2020 Duración: 24min"A big part of living worthfully is owning our desire." I want to hear your thoughts. EP 130 // How Our Bodies Teach Us Our Worth // Heather Francis
28/08/2020 Duración: 53min"The more awareness we have, the more choices we have." This conversation is a continuation of one my friend Heather and I started the other night about one of my favorite topics -- somatic intelligence, or body awareness. Heather is the perfect person to talk to about this because she is a dancer, a dance teacher, and just as passionate about body awareness as I am. In this episode, we discuss several pieces of what it means to hold our body as a home for our worth, the maturing process of learning to befriend and listen to our body, and how increasing our awareness of our body increases our choices. I loved all of this and you can expect more episodes on this topic -- I think it's endlessly interesting. Show notes What somatic intelligence is and why it matters (4:30) The power of body awareness Heather has learned as a teacher versus a student (7:18) How our choices increase as our awareness increases (14:22) How our bodies teach us about our worth (20:27) What Heather has noticed about teenager's

EP 129 // Framing My Worth // Christine Baird
19/08/2020 Duración: 08min"How you frame it shapes what it even becomes." - Rob Bell "Joy has no shame in repeating itself." I didn't feel like speaking today, so I put off recording this episode for most of the afternoon. But then I gifted myself a pick-me-up by watching all 1 hour and 19 minutes of Rob Bell's film, An Introduction to Joy, and I found something to say. I learned that how I frame my self-worth shapes what it even becomes - and that's worth sharing. Links mentioned: Rob Bell's An Introduction to Joy Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

EP 128 // A Worthfull Wedding Story // Christine Baird
12/08/2020 Duración: 20min"This truly is the new set point of this new chapter of my life." Here is the final chapter in the worthfull wedding saga that I've been sharing pieces of this year. I felt it would be worth it to recap what I felt and learned as our wedding finally happened, in all its beautiful reality, and the worthfull lessons of being a pandemic bride. I am deeply grateful for the whole experience, the incredible support from so many, the beautiful miracle of our wedding, and the massive relief of it being complete (ha!). If I learned anything it was that I have always been worthy of all of the love and support I need, and this wedding was a beautiful reminder of that truth. EP 127 // Belonging to and Becoming Myself // Jake Kauffman
29/07/2020 Duración: 37min"Depression is the need for deep rest from the person we've become and not who we are." What a treat I have for you today. I recorded this conversation a couple of months ago with my brother-from-another-mother Jake Kauffman about the good stuff - mental health, vulnerability, healing, depression, worth, and coming home to ourselves. Jake and I met in a self-development workshop years ago in LA and it's been a strong bond ever since. He is now a thriving coach, writer, filmmaker, and more, and he has the chops to show for it. Jake is a special kind of treat and I recommend a listen. Bonus - he loves sharing the origin and meanings of words, so there's a few of those treasures sprinkled throughout. Show notes What coming home to himself has felt like to Jake this past year (4:34) What it's like to read about your own life in your own words (7:25) What the word persona actually means (11:15) The difference between who you think you are and the truth of who you are (16:42) A different way to

EP 126 // Worthy of Expression // Christine Baird
15/07/2020 Duración: 14min"When we don't own our choices, it's a direct sign that we're not owning our worth." Sharing a thought from my journal today. I've been mostly silent about my wedding because it's been such a touch and go thing to plan during this pandemic. But as I thought today, 2.5 weeks out from the event, that silence hasn't been helpful. It's felt safe. But it's kept people who love me in the dark as to what's really going on in my life. The line I journaled this morning that really got me was, "Expression is powerful, even when silence seems safer." It occurred to me that this truth applies to ALL kinds of expression, on all topics, and that this as timely right now for anything you are struggling to express as it is for me. We really are worthy to express what we're experiencing. And that's what worthfullness looks like. Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

EP 124 // The Opposition Between Dark and Light // Christine Baird
17/06/2020 Duración: 15min"The darkness doesn't change our worth. It changes our experience of our worth." I have had some real lows and some real breakthroughs this week in owning my worth. In choosing to believe in miracles, light, joy, and more. For me, the test has come through trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic. But as I've thought about what I'm being taught, I know it's universal. Whether you are experiencing the darkness of racial injustice, grieving the loss of the life you knew before a pandemic, or any other personal challenge, you are still worthy of being filled with the light of your worth. This episode is my reminder to myself (and you) to choose to fill ourselves with the light. EP 123 // Losing Control and Finding Worth // Christine Baird
10/06/2020 Duración: 17min"Worth is such a gateway to everything else we want." I've had some perspective in the past couple weeks about what losing control (or the illusion of it) has taught me in the pandemic about my worth. I've been tested at deep, new levels to own my worth when so much feels like it's out of my control. I'm sharing what I've learned about the relationship between control and worth, what I've remembered I always have control over, and why this is all a beautiful chapter in coming home to myself. EP 122 // Racism and Worth // Christine Baird
03/06/2020 Duración: 21minI recorded a podcast this week, June 3rd, 2020, to remind myself what I was learning about worth in the wake of demands for justice after the murder of George Floyd. I don't expect anyone to listen, since there are much more important voices to listen to right now, but I wanted to record my internal experience so that I would remember. If there's one thing that I know about worth, it's that it has nothing to do with the color of your skin and everything to do with being human. I have learned so much this week as I've been listening and educating myself. There's so much more for me to learn about owning one's worth when you are discriminated against for your race. I am committed.
