  • EP 100 // Cultivating Peace Within Ourselves // Rebecca Regnier

    12/12/2019 Duración: 54min

"We were born with the innate abilities to be at peace." Wowie! Episode 100! It didn't hit me that the podcast has come this far until I edited today's episode, recorded with my bestie and bi-annual co-host Rebecca. I am feeling a little emotional as I write this (also because I went to therapy today) and I'm letting it all come up. This podcast is the longest running personal project I've ever taken on. It's something I have learned to value, cherish, and commit to, even when I am tempted to skip it, downplay it, or just coast for a while. In commemoration of two years of the show, the end of 2019, and the start of a new chapter of life, Rebecca and I discussed the ways we are learning to cultivate inner peace, let go of what we no longer need, and turn our hearts and minds forward to what we want to create. Thank you for being with me on this worthfull journey. Show notes How to experience growth and creation while maintaining calm (4:37) A different definition of peace (10:04) Ways to cultiva

  • EP 99 // Finding Home Within Myself // Christine Baird

    04/12/2019 Duración: 17min

"Home will always be a construct of my mind and heart." It's the holidays (which I love), so I'm thinking about home, family, tradition, gratitude, etc. This is the last solo episode of Season 2 of the show, so I tuned into myself to see what I wanted to talk about. The word home came to me as a feeling, not a place. I've lived all over the country, so to me, this is normal. But as I thought about home from a worthfull perspective, it reminded me that we create home within ourselves when we own our worth. I recorded this little episode for anyone who is wondering how the holidays are going to feel homey this year. Because they always can, no matter what. • EP 98 // Believing I Am Worthy To Receive It All // Tara Starling

    30/11/2019 Duración: 01h11min

"We only receive the things we believe we are worthy to have." I have waited about six months to bring you today's episode. Not intentionally, just because of scheduling and distractions, etc. But it's worth the wait. I met my beautiful friend Tara a year ago at a birthday party and I have been continually impressed by who she is and what she is creating in the world. By profession, she is an amazing makeup artist for television and film. But her bigger work goes beyond that and is about helping people see their true inner beauty. Tara brings so much wisdom and heart to this conversation. She shares her light and stories with so much love. I was on a high the whole rest of the day. We discuss some of my very favorite topics in this episode, including our relationship to beauty, abundance, and "worth nirvana," as Tara calls it. It's one of my favorite episodes I've recorded so far. Show notes How our beliefs create our reality (8:41) What it takes to fall in love with ourselves (13:01) Where to sta

  • EP 97 // Give What You're Here to Give // Christine Baird

    22/11/2019 Duración: 13min

"It is no coincidence that you are on the planet right now living the life you are living." I recorded a podcast episode today with a beautiful friend that I'll share next week. Stay tuned. After we finished recording, we had a really special conversation in which she acknowledged me for what I am giving to the world because I am choosing to own my worth. That stuck with me the whole day and I was still thinking about it tonight, so I recorded a solo episode on my thoughts. I believe we are all designed with a very unique offering to give the world while we are here in it. It has nothing to do with being the best at something or making a certain level of impact. It's just part of the bigger plan of life - we each give a valuable contribution. So if we don't give what we are here to give, we are robbing the people who are waiting to receive our offering. I hope this will be a reminder to you, as it was to me today, that the world needs the contribution that only you can give. Follow Christine: Instagr

  • EP 96 // Remembering My Worth After Betrayal // Roxanne Kennedy Granata

    13/11/2019 Duración: 49min

"You're not the only one going through whatever you are going through." I met a beautiful woman at a podcasting workshop I taught a few weeks ago. She came up after the class and gave me her book. She told me she also is on a journey to own her worth and share her experience. So naturally, I invited her on the podcast. Roxanne was married to a sex addict for 21 years and lived through the trauma of constant betrayal and lies. Of course it required her to reinvent her relationship to her worth, her intuition, and to others. She has since written a book about her healing journey, and she now speaks often to audiences about this process of remembering your worth. I loved this conversation because it's so clear that Roxanne has done (and is always doing) THE work - that deep inner cleaning and sorting of everything that doesn't serve you in order to become in total ownership of your worth. • EP 95 // Already Having Enough // Christine Baird

    08/11/2019 Duración: 26min

"I am enough. I have enough. There is enough." I've been reading Ryan Holiday's new book, Stillness Is the Key, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Today I read a chapter about being at peace with having enough. And it got me thinking that we always already have enough. This is an interesting topic, laced with lots of emotion and opinion. It deals with scarcity, survival, comparison, power, validation, and much more. So I wanted to record a solo episode sharing my thoughts about what it means to be enough and have enough - already, always. I got a little fired up while talking about this - I can tell I have more thoughts coming on this. • EP 94 // Owning My Worth While In the Pit // Christine Baird

    30/10/2019 Duración: 25min

"Hard times happen, and it has nothing to do with our worth." When things are challenging, it's easy for me to focus on how I'm not enough, how I deserve to struggle, and how it's all my fault. Don't know if you can relate, haha. However, even though I'm in a challenging chapter right now, supporting my boyfriend through a transitional, disruptive time, I've really felt the power of my worthfull habits sustaining me. I recorded a little solo episode, as a reminder to myself of at least four things I've learned about how to navigate struggles and challenges worthfully. Once again, this podcast has been a blessing to keep me accountable to my own worthfull journey - at all times. Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 93 // Creatively Owning My Worth Through Healing // Emily Merrell

    24/10/2019 Duración: 53min

"Try to see your own worth creatively." I got to sit down and record an episode with a friend of over a decade this past week. Emily and I met when we were babies in our twenties in Texas. Both our lives look drastically different than when we became friends. But we've been learning so many of the same lessons about worth. Emily is an incredible jazz singer, teacher, podcast host, and all around creative. She's been through really intense challenges to her worth - through her family and profession - and you can tell her wisdom and courage comes from those experiences. We dive into many topics in this conversation including how to view your worth as a creative, go out of your comfort zone, handle really difficult family dynamics, and embrace our inner love of magic as adults. It's a great conversation, in my humble opinion. Also, something wonky was happening with the mics during this recording, so please forgive the little scratchy sound that randomly shows up here and there. C'est la vie. Show notes

  • EP 92 // Stillness Is Medicine // Christine Baird

    16/10/2019 Duración: 25min

"A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention." - Herbert Simon I have become VERY interested in stillness and mindfulness in the last year. Since moving from LA to Salt Lake City, I've slowed everything down. It's been magical. I've also become more and more aware of the mental health challenges that affect all of us everyday. These are all intertwined in my mind. Self-worth, mental health, mindfulness, slowing down. So I recorded a solo episode, inspired by a new book I'm reading, on what I'm learning about my worth as I practice stillness as a mental health habit. • EP 91 // Creating a Worthy Human Mindset // Tracy Litt

    09/10/2019 Duración: 51min

"I know my worth is not-negotiable." I met a new fast friend last week through her publicist. Once I saw her dancing for fun on her Instagram, I knew she was the real deal. Tracy Litt is a certified mindset coach, best selling author, rapid transformational therapist, and awe-inspiring speaker. She is the founder of The Litt Factor, a personal growth and coaching company, and Worthy Human, an inspirational and empowering merchandise line. This conversation is not only a documentation of the beginning of our genuine friendship, but a gold mine of solid coaching on self-worth, mindset, and why taking responsibility for every part of your life is the beginning of a worthfull life. Show notes Why taking responsibility for everything in your life is key to self-worth (2:15) What has us not show up for our own lives (3:39) The turning point in Tracy's life where she began to own her worth (7:10) How worth is really about choice (11:12) How to choose a different story than one where you are the victim (1

  • EP 90 // Love Over Judgment // Christine Baird

    02/10/2019 Duración: 14min

"My feelings often follow my actions and my words." I have a long-standing habit, that I am constantly working on shifting, of judging the people closest to me. It's one of the parts of my ego I dislike the most, but am also learning to be graceful with. I have been working for a couple of weeks on shifting into love every time I notice myself judging my boyfriend. This is a conscious effort on my part to stop judging him for things that might never change -- or need to for that matter. But it is work, and I want to be accountable for my goals, so I recorded a solo episode about what I'm learning as I focus on loving him as he is. Of course, this also means I'm learning to love myself on a whole new level. Because that is the worthfull journey. • EP 89 // Owning My Worth As an Actress // Kristen Metzger

    25/09/2019 Duración: 32min

"What you can control is the way that you see the opportunities you are given." - Kristen Metzger I have been looking forward to recording a podcast episode with my sister-friend Kristen for over a year. Because she lives such a world citizen, nomadic lifestyle, it finally happened after several attempts, and I'm so happy to share this conversation with you. Kristen is many things, but acting is her biggest passion between all of her professions. She has such a huge heart, vision, and empathy for telling the stories of humans. But in this conversation, I asked her questions about how she has learned to own her worth as an actress, in one of the most competitive industries, where she is constantly being told no, we don't want you. Kristen has incredible insight and depth into what she is learning about where our worth comes from and how we can always be shaping our experiences to build our worth, no matter what our results are. • EP 88 // Worthfull Self-Care at a Whole New Level // Christine Baird

    18/09/2019 Duración: 26min

"It was no longer acceptable to me to run myself low and not replenish to 100." I am thrilled to say, I practiced self-care at a level that I have never experienced this last weekend. After an intense 10 day work trip, I knew I needed some quality time to replenish. And I delivered on my promise to myself. I was so overjoyed at experiencing self-care from a place of worth that I couldn't wait to record an episode sharing my experience. In this solo episode, I share how I prepped beforehand to make this blissful weekend possible, how I practiced self-care during my trip, and what self-care looks like for me on an emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical level. • EP 87 // Truth v. Perfectionism // Christine Baird

    11/09/2019 Duración: 11min

"The truth is somewhere in the middle." I read a post by one of my favorite marketing and business mentors, Seth Godin, about how we are innately biased when it comes to our opinion of our own work. I took that a step farther and thought about how we are innately biased when it comes to our opinion of our worth. If you've ever felt the struggle of perfectionism, you can probably relate. We perfectionists tend to either think we aren't ever going to be enough, or we think if we just work a little harder, we can prove our worth. Both are lies. And the truth is somewhere in the middle. I recorded a solo episode sharing my thoughts on Seth's thoughts on this topic and I'd love to hear yours as well. Show Notes: Seth Godin Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 86 // What I Was Raised to Be and Who I've Chosen to Be // Christine Baird

    04/09/2019 Duración: 13min

"You are who you were raised to be and you are who you've chosen to become independent of that." I spent the weekend at my parent's house for my nephew's baptism and it was lovely. I also had a minor emotional meltdown because it was the first time I'd taken my boyfriend to my parent's home. And it felt vulnerable. I recorded a little solo episode on my experience to share what I'm learning about owning my worth around who I was raised to be and who I've chosen to become. In my opinion, ownership and authenticity come from owning the whole of who we are, and that includes where we came from. Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 85 // Owning My Worth While Making Mistakes // Christine Baird

    28/08/2019 Duración: 22min

"Everything I do well now, I was once bad at." How do you feel when you make a mistake? I used to feel a lot of shame - especially when it was something I knew how to do better. As I've learned to own my worth, I've been shifting how I feel about making mistakes. And since I've been making lots of mistakes lately (new clients, business growth, relationship, etc), I've been really practicing owning my worth in all of them. I recorded a solo episode to share some helpful tools I've learned to own my worth through making mistakes - small and big. If you're like me, it's a life-long process, but it makes a world of difference. Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 84 // Bring Your Best // Christine Baird

    21/08/2019 Duración: 09min

"Show up like your work matters." I had a little epiphany while working on multiple client's projects last week and realized it had to do with worth. I work with mostly personal brands, so how a client prioritizes their work tells me how much they own their worth. I recorded a quick solo episode as a little business behind-the-scenes note on what I am learning about how to get the best service for your business, brand, project, or whatever you're working on that is important to you. And, of course, it has to do with how you own your worth. Links mentioned in this episode: Rebecca Regnier Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest

  • EP 83 // Joy First // Christine Baird

    14/08/2019 Duración: 21min

"Human beings were created to experience joy." I had a beautiful experience this weekend in which I let myself be so "still" and rejuvenate so fully that I was actually energized and looking forward to a new work week by Sunday night. Novel. I realized that this was only possible because I've been practicing putting the things that bring me joy (and consequently fill me up with energy) first in my day to day priorities . . . and seeing everything else (work, to do lists, etc) fall into place around that. It has been revolutionary to say the least. I wanted to record a solo episode about what I'm learning about putting joy first, while I'm learning it, so that we can all run this big experiment together if you're interested. I believe we are here on planet Earth to experience joy, and the rest of life can fit in around that. Owning my worth is where this starts. • EP 82 // Dazzling God with Our Love // Christine Baird

    07/08/2019 Duración: 10min

"What dazzles God isn't our accomplishments, it's our love." - Bob Goff I read this quote tonight on Instagram and it hit me like Bob's quotes always do - THE TRUTH. The thought of dazzling God is beyond. But when I considered what Bob was saying, I started to really get behind it. What happens when we own our worth is that we acknowledge our infinite capacity to love and give. We mirror God's love. And that's something pretty amazing. I'm sharing my thoughts on this in a short and dazzling solo episode (see what I did there?). Links mentioned in this episode: Bob Goff Follow Christine: Instagram | Facebook | Pinterest
