The Faithful Church Can Be Tempted by Weariness

While suffering is on its way, Jesus holds the Christians in Smyrna secure.

While the Ephesian church had a ZEAL FOR TRUTH, they had LOST THEIR LOVE. If the church can REMEMBER, REPENT, AND RECOVER, Jesus will gift them with ETERNAL LIFE.

John is a brother and fellow partaker of the suffering, the kingdom, and the patient endurance. Where can the church find security in the tribulations that come on her? John answers this in telling us WHAT HE HAS SEEN, WHAT IS NOW HAPPENING, and WHAT WILL COME TO PASS.
