Both must exhibit these qualities: • Good reputation • Not overindulgent • Generous • Well-behaved • Mentally and emotionally stable • Sexually above reproach • Manage family well • Hospitable • Know the Bible • Gentle, patient, and peace-loving • Not a new Christian 3. Reflect on God’s faithfulness. Deuteronomy 32:49b (NLT) ...Look out across the land of Canaan, the land I am giving to the people of Israel as their own special possession.” 3. Bless those you love.
