Ep 052 || How Can I Help You? Creating a Strong School Partnership - Danyele Easterhaus
01/08/2022 Duración: 39minWe are all in youth ministry because we care deeply about students. Most of us are in settings in which we are close to a school. Our organizations (either you & I or our leadership) want to be connected in more of a partnership with the school or schools that our students attend. This is a simple goal, or so it seems. Danyele Easterhaus sits with us to share how consistency has produced a strong, healthy relationship with the school. ----- Join us for our next Network Conversation Get More Info Here See the video from the previous conversation here! ----- Follow us on Instagram @youthminnetworks ------ Did this conversation resonate with you? Ep 051 || Equipping students for a daily mission trip - Travis Deans
06/07/2022 Duración: 32minWe are fully into summer now. For many churches/parachurches/ministries, the summer is filled with reaching your friends through a fun via trip/camp/experience or simply put evangelism. While these have good intentions and may be effective, there is a different approach that we are focusing on today: the school year calendar. It may seem counterintuitive seeing as we finished the school year only days ago, but what if talked about it now so that we planned for the fall now? ----- 9 Month Mission Trip ----- Join us for our next Network Conversation Get More Info Here See the video from the previous conversation here! ----- Follow us on Instagram @youthminnetworks ------ Did this conversation resonate with you? Ep 047 | Give Students a Platform - Emily Krohn
24/03/2022 Duración: 38minMany of us are products of a leader or group of leaders who saw something in us when we were younger. They called it out in us and allowed us to learn within a youth group setting. Now that we are the leader of a ministry, it's our turn to create an environment for students to flourish in their gifts and talents. Emily Krohn joins us today to share about her experience not only as a ministry leader now, but also about the leaders who created a space for her when she was a student. ----- Connect with Emily Instagram ----- Join us for our next Network Conversation Get More Info Here See the video from the previous conversation here! ----- Follow us on Instagram @youthminnetworks ------ Did this conversation resonate with you? Season 4 Trailer || Be Intentional
10/01/2022 Duración: 08minThe past two years of ministry have required many to pivot strategy, reimagine ministry, and in some cases, rediscover their calling. But one thing is clear: students still need intentional youth workers who will be united in bringing the gospel to every community. That's why our theme for 2022 is Be Intentional. Following the example Jesus set for us, we believe serving students looks like disciplined and diligent service. But what does that mean for you, in your context and in your community? Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit." At National Network of Youth Ministries, we are passionate about diligently reaching students with the love of Jesus. It's what drives our mission to resource and network youth workers across the country. And it's worth our focus and determination. ----- Follow us on Instagram @youthminnetworks ------ Did this conversation resonate with you? We want to hear from you! Ep 045 || A Thrill of Hope to Pierce Our Weariness - Eda Esilaba
10/12/2021 Duración: 35minIt’s December. In the ministry context it is one of the busiest times of the year. We have parties for every group we are connected with, if we are in a local church, then we all have Christmas assignments we must plan for, people are excited because it’s Christmas, and then we have all of our own families to think about in the midst of the scramble. There are so many levels of festivities during this month that we can be moving through them without being able to pause in way that we can really take notice of what we are celebrating. The phrase Thrill of Hope is used at Christmas time in various forms. But what does that mean? The old English definition (for when this song was written) a piercing penetrating desire and expectation of an obtainable good. In order to fully grasp the depths of this type of hope, is to have experienced hopelessness. That is what we are talking about today. We asked Eda Esilaba to sit with us to talk about her own experience. ----- Follow us on Instagram @youthminnetworks&nb
