This week we sit down with lyricist See Green and speak with him about how growing up in Houston and New York has benefited his rap career. We also talk about his feelings on battle rap, his upcoming album, and much more.

This week we sit down with Coreigh Terry, the man behind Khntxt, a video series capturing lyricist around Houston.  Terry speaks with us about how he selects the rappers for his videos, what brought him to Houston, and how he developed his videography skills.  

This week we sit down with Jay Kell, the Monroe, Louisiana MC that found his way to Houston, Texas. We talk about how he used rap music to fit into his new surroundings, how freestyling in front of Chamillionaire convinced him to start a career in music, his work with the duo NtheClouds, and his new release, Sunset Boulevard.   

This week we sit down with Bigg Fatts and Pugtunes.  Bigg Fatts is known for his lyricism and Pugtunes has been providing the musical landscapes for a number of artist in the city.  Together they have crafted two masterpieces, Memoirs of the Kitchen Staff & Fatty's Food Truck, with no plans on stopping.  They speak with us about their process in creating an album as well as their plans for the future, and why Fatts is slowing down on freestyling for the blogs. *An earlier version of this episode was released without the full audio.  It has been re-released now as the full interview.

This week In My Humble Opinion sits down with another podcast, Best Friend Weekend.  The group make their on merchandise,  have a number of spin off podcasts, host travel excursions to various cities, and rep the Saints (for some reason).  We sit down with two of their members, Aldo Nice and C.A.P and talk about everything Best Friend Weekend, including their most recent trip where the group experienced racism through their booking host.

This week's guest is Boi Dru, the Houston MC and producer who brings a more chill vibe to the Houston music scene.  We speak with him about his work with the production collective Suicide Squad Beatz, his thoughts on the Houston Music scene, the new music he has coming out, and his feelings on the younger generation of up and coming artists.

This week we sit down with singer/songwriter Susan Carol.  The Houstonian has gained a social media following by releasing almost-daily clips of her singing and playing the guitar.  We talk with her about her creative process, her recent single, and learning how to play the guitar.  

This week's guest is singer/songwriter Chadd Black. We speak with him about the ups and downs of the industry and how his experience led him to create his own talent agency.  

This week we speak with AJ McQueen, a St. Louis MC that has set up shop here in Houston.  We talk about his upbringing in St. Louis and how violence brought him to Texas.  We also speak about the building of his nonprofit group, The Writers Block, and his plans for expanding the organization throughout the nation.

This week we sit down with the Southeast Beast, Doughbeezy.  The MC speaks with us about coming from Ohio to Houston, his start in Hip Hop, his plans for the future in music, and even shares some homecooked food with the show.

This week's guest is the Northside's very own Big Bad Kab.  The Bully Gang MC has been racking up fans with his lyrical freestyles and melodic singles.  We speak with him about his influences in rap, his feelings on Houston, and connecting with Hip Hop notables like Sway, Slim Thug, and DJ Mr. Rogers.

This week we sit down with Tausha Sanders, one of the creators of the SneakHer Summit and marketing head of the Sneaker Summit.  We speak with her about breaking into the fashion coming from Nebraska, finding a foothold in the shoe industry, and the evolving role of women in the male dominated sneaker space.

This week we sit down with Amy Mueller, a Houston DJ and event promoter that runs Bounce & Turn.  Bounce & Turn puts on a monthly Hip Hop party at different locations.  The events give up and coming artist the opportunity to get paid performing in front of a crowd and exposes people to businesses and venues in Houston.  We talk with Amy about her pathway to DJ'ing, her connection to Houston and its artists, and the future of Bounce & Turn.
