After three out-of-town trips in a few days, Melissa and I felt exhausted. So what did we do? We decided to stay home, rest, begin little tasks and preparations for when we begin traveling again. Laundry, cooking and doing dishes seemed more enjoyable as we relaxingly decompressed. Of course rest and respite is not just a means to an end rather it's essential as part of a thriving family.
