Back in high school, Pastor Chris learned a lesson on grace that changed the rest of his life. We are not the sum of our mistakes. We are the sum of God's grace in our lives. And when we fully understand the message of grace, it will change our lives from the inside out.

Just as the Old Testament priests cared for the temple, believers are called to care for their spiritual well-being, focusing on faith, anointing through the Holy Spirit, and personal sacrifice. For the final part in the series, Pastor Tony emphasizes always maintaining a strong connection with God, aligning our life with His will, and avoiding spiritual neglect.

When Nehemiah discovered that the poor were being oppressed and taken advantage off, he immediately demanded reform. Taking care of the needy is not just a human priority, but it is a priority of the Lord. God promises that He will bless us when we show generosity and compassion.

For a city to be safe and well protected, it must have strong walls. But there also must be well guarded gates for provisions to pass through. Pastor Chris shares how these boundaries and barriers are essential in our own spiritual lives. Each of the ten gates in Jerusalem represents different entrances into our own soul.

Halfway through our summer series, Pastor Tony introduces the story of Nehemiah, the man commissioned to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Facing a people burdened with shame and disgrace, Nehemiah became their compassionate champion. In his many years as a pastor, Tony read has found there is much discouragement, despair, depression, anxiety, and grief, among God's people.

To rebuild the city of Jerusalem, and reform the nation of Israel, would not just require facing physical obstacles, but an entirely new belief system. In this message, Pastor Chris shares how the real battle is won or lost first inside of our minds.
