This week, John Williams from Life that Counts joins the BAT gang to talk about his work in schools and with young people. Williams shares the secret of changing the atmosphere of schools by mentorship and modeling healthy relationships. John has recently presented a TED Talk on the topic: "What if there was never another school shooting: How mentoring could reduce school shootings." This week's episode builds on his talk to get down to some of the nuts and bolts of helping and healing in the lives of today's youth. Join the two-week challenge for church youth groups (June 21st through noon on July 4th). You will receive the BATify Freedom 5k medal for each team member with registration. The team with the highest average mileage (running or walking ONLY) per team member wins the BATify Custom Championship belt (minimum of 4 teams) and an in-person coronation of the championship belt by Ben and Travis at your church or preferred location (within the continental United States). $100 gets you, five team members.
