Last week we started our conversation with Michel Hendricks, co-author (with Dr. Jim Wilder) of The Other Half of Church. This book is a game changer for discipleship within the church. The book explores the brain science behind "making disciples" within the context of loving relationships and healthy community. God is revealing some amazing things about how our brains are wired and that revelation has opened up a whole new world to what it means to become like Jesus. 

Michel co-wrote, "The Other Half of Church" with one of our other podcast guests, Neuro-Theologian, Dr. Jim Wilder. In the book, he explores why traditional discipleship in the church is often ineffective in the long run because it focuses only on one half of the brain.
