In this episode, you get my take on Walmart's prohibition on open carry of firearms in the wake of a couple of shootings in its stores.  It seems that the CEO of Walmart, Doug McMillon, has been itching for an excuse to stop selling popular ammunition in his stores.  Surprisingly, it turns out that Doug was the guy who pulled the plug on AR-15s and other scary looking rifles, deciding that Walmart wouldn't sell those types of rifles any longer.   It's not about hunting, Doug. In this episode:  This was recorded last month.  We've been experimenting with growing our own food, since we plan to get back to our little cabin in the woods.  In this episode, I go into detail about one of our eclectic crop choices this year: sorghum. Probably more than you'll ever want to know about sorghum and how we turned it into syrup with the help of others in the community (and a horse). It seems to me that growing our own food is just one step towards living a truly free life.  Getting along with others in the community is another step.  Baby steps. In this episode:  Feel like you are beating your head against a wall when you talk to some people about gun rights?  Are you participating in their conversation, or are you making an argument against something that they aren't claiming?  Confusing?  Not really.  If you are going to argue a point, make sure that you understand your opponent's point first.  It does no good for you to talk about motorcycles if he is talking about apples. Many gun grabbers want to reduce "gun violence" .  Arguing that "because people are accidentally killed with cars, gun control won't work" makes no sense when debating them.  They are literally not talking about accidental car deaths.  They are talking about reducing intentional violence perpetrated with guns.  You need to fix your argument.
