God will put angels in your path. These are messengers to help you get where you need to be. It may come in the form of friends, family, or complete strangers. Happy Thanksgiving! A year ago today I was in a much different spot and I am thankful for that. I was also reminded from a dream I had last night that I want to keep fighting and staying in my lane. This is not the time for me to leave the race - I am staying in it.I realize this has been a recurring theme in my life, so I wanted to talk more about it. I wasn't planning to make an episode like this today but I think it's fitting. Last year I'd just finished therapy and was just getting back into running.Today I am running WAY more and I have a book out so there's definitely been some serious progress. Sometimes God is telling you to just let something go, to just put yourself out there. The greatest risk is often not taking a risk. You don't know what's going to happen, but He does.Right now with my journey I just feel this over and over again - to just let go and let Him do His thing. I am getting better at that. The second I walked into Toastmasters I knew I was in the right place. I felt the electricity, the joy, it just flowed through my veins! I made a few new friends, and had a great time! I got there late and missed the whole thing and still had a good time! I am SO pumped to go back there in a few weeks. :) I recorded this right after going, so the vibes are high. I also talked about just going after things and learning from the journey. I said I'd upload another interview today. I said that very unconvincingly. I ended up working on a bunch of poetry today and took THREE naps. I realize that I probably need to give myself a break, and just focus on doing uploads on Monday and Thursday (haha).I'll get back to uploading interviews next week. Knowing what you are going after is good. If you'd like to be a writer and spend the day coding, that could be viewed as a loss. On the other hand, if you want to become a computer programmer and you are coding, that surely means you are on the path!I didn't get the Alex Pauls interview up today. My book was set to be released today.
