Sinopsis
Sermon 8 in our Revelation Series: Near the end of Revelation, we’re presented with a tale of two cities. On the one hand we have Babylon, the City of Man. This city represents every social enterprise that lives in defiance of God. This is contrasted with the City of God, represented by the New Jerusalem. The question for us to consider is: Which city do I call home? In this message, Pastor Michael walks through Revelation 17-18 and unpacks four truths about Babylon, the City of Man: The City of Man is alluring. The City of Man is inferior. The City of Man is temporary. The City of Man is destructive. “Fallen, Fallen is Babylon the Great! …Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” (Revelation 18:2, 4-5)
