St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church celebrated its 150th anniversary with a Mass held Sunday, June 4, 2023, led by Bishop Michael Fisher. The church, also home to the Diocesan Shrine of St. John Paul II, is known in Western New York as the "Mother Church of Polonia," and was the first of several churches built in Buffalo by Polish immigrants in the late 19th Century.
