What happens when we die? It’s a question we’ve all pondered, and it’s been answered with theories ranging from nothing to everything. In the Bible, Jesus tells his disciples that through his death and resurrection — and his return to God — he will prepare a place for his followers before returning to bring them along. It’s a hopeful promise for all who believe in Christ: that when we die, being with God in Heaven isn’t just what happens, it’s the beginning of the eternal life we were always meant for.
