In this land, life expectancies are more accurately predicted by one’s zip code than their genetic code. In this land, our justice system has criminalized poverty as thousands sit in jails, not because they’ve been convicted of a crime, but simply because they could not afford bail. In this land, many who work tirelessly to provide for their families are still denied a living wage. In this land, we too wait on good news!But we have a promise that a Redeemer is on the way.
