Today on The Casey Adams Show I sat down with Jordon Rooney. Rooney, has always had an entrepreneurial mindset. A native of New Castle, Pa., an hour northwest of Pittsburgh, he played defensive back for nearby Westminster College before graduating in 2012 and heading overseas to play professionally in Serbia and Poland. He then founded his nonprofit, Never Fear Being Different — which works with youth and other nonprofits to amplify social impact — in 2015, before joining law firm Pond Lehocky Giordano as its director of digital marketing in 2018. Rooney left that role in 2020 to found Jaster, which seeks to amplify athletes’ brands through strategy and content creation, and Built Different Creative, a separate marketing agency geared toward companies rather than athletes.
