“’Twas the night before…” and so begins one of the most read Christmas poems that has shaped how look forward to all the Christmas season has to offer. But there’s also deeper and more meaningful poetry to be found in the Bible that sets the bar much higher for the reason we celebrate—in which we look forward to hope, love, joy, and peace in infinite measure. And when we know this true story of Christmas we wait in the night with the expectation fulfilled that the morning brings something even better than we could anticipate.
