Regular life rhythms are disturbed and prove ineffective within this new landscape. Life under the starlit skies of the wilderness is completely different to the carefully structured life within urban Egypt. It will require a completely new skill-set and a massive change of perspective. One aspect of this change is the people’s view of God.
