It's your first testimony showing others that you have repented and turned to the Lord Matt 3:6 when they confessed their sin he baptized them  Baptism is not some holy water. It is the symbolism of you dying to your own life and being raised to a new life with Christ. Have you followed the Lord in believers' baptism? Are you prepared for the Lord’s second coming?  Clear the road for him? What things do you need to clear out of your life? Are you expecting the Messiah? Repentance and fruit are necessary in your life with Christ. Check your heart attitude and posture. What does the fruit you have revealed about you? Are you part of the chaff or the wheat? Calling out sin is an offense to the unbeliever. They jump right to “you judging me” so don't be surprised when that happens.
