JEREMIAH 32-33:In yesterday’s reading we heard some of Jeremiah’s most important words: Jer. 31:33-34 NLT … this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,” says the LORD.“I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. … I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” When you think about it, what God has always wanted is rather simple: He would like to be our God, and He would like us to be— and act like, His people. PROVERBS 3b:Let’s read verses 5-8 as a reminder, because these represent the core of Proverbs. Proverbs 3:5-8 NLT 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
